Strategy and Wargaming Game from Strategy First
Turn-based strategy game set in a fantasy universe. This sequel features a gameworld that is much larger than that in the previous game and gameplay with a lot more depth. There is also a stronger story.
The premise of game is that four distinctive groups are at war (imperial, undead, infernal and barbaric). Each side has around forty distinctive unit types. The game features four campaigns plus a selection of around twenty standalone scenarios. A scenario editor is also incorporated. The gameplay is turn-based and involves extending territory through combat and harvesting/using resources, including mana. Heroes, with RPG-style character development, also play an important role. The multi-player mode supports up to four players (hotseating, or over LAN or online). The game employs detailed 2D graphics and an effective interface.
