RTS and standalone expansion following on from Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines. Set in Europe in World War 2, you control a group of allied commandos, each with own set of skills through eight historically inspired missions. Up to six team members participate in each mission, although in most cases there are only four. The gameplay involves careful planning and precision execution. A good variety of settings are recreated. Played from an isometric perspective you can zoom in and out. A new camera option has been added that allows you to split the screen to show the area around of each of the team members
Each team member has their own special skills, whilst they all share several skills. Stealth and cunning use of equipment are important elements of the gameplay. There is a multi-player option enabling up to six players to participate in cooperative games online or over LAN. The game's graphics are effective.
