Strategy and Wargaming Game from Strategic Simulations Inc. (SSI), by Atomic Games
RTS and part of a long-running series. It is the same game released outside the US with the title 'Close Combat: Invasion Normandy'. This is the follow-up to Close Combat 4 and it incorporates minor changes to the gameplay and graphics of its predecessor. For instance, you can now decide the make-up of battle groups. This installment concentrates on the Normandy landings of 1944. The game features four full campaigns with some 50 battles. As before, you view the action from an overhead perspective. The game's graphics and interface are effective.
