Version of the classic board game plus a new strategy game which offers more depth. The classic game serves only as a practice mode for the main game. Significantly, the classic game is not available for multi-player games. World Domination mode is a real-time naval strategy game. It features more unit types, including air support such as helicopters. The single-player game consists of a selection of scenarios that combine combat with objectives such as defending a particular locations from attack.
You control the action by setting waypoints and deciding how to deploy units. Units can be equipped with a variety of weapons. The game is played from an overhead view and employs fairly basic graphics. Ss expected it now looks a bit dated. Up to three people can compete over LAN or Net). The PC game employs an effective mouse-based control system. This was modified for use with the N64 controller.
