Strategy and Wargaming Game from Talonsoft
Turn-based strategy game that recreates the Civil War battles of Murfreesboro and of Chickamauga, fought in 1863. There are over 20 battle scenarios to choose from. There is also a scenario editor that is compatible with the previous games in the series. Whilst you can't design maps, you can set starting conditions, orders of battle and unit characteristics. You can compete against the computer or another player (on-line or via e-mail modem connection or hotseating). There are four map views available, two are impressive 3D views with units represented as miniatures. Maps are hexed based and zoomable.
