Strategy and Wargaming Game from 3DO, by Pandemic Studios
This RTS featuring the toy soliders is currently in development. It will be a significant departure from the other games in this long-running series and has a different developer. The premise is that two armies, the Green and the Tan, are at war. Game options will include 'great battles', campaign and special operations. The campaign will consist of fifteen connected missions. The PC version will also offer a multi-player mode (via LAN or Net).
The gameplay will involve constructing units and tactical combat. Units will include ground troops plus tanks and air support. The battlefields will be everyday environments, a house and backyard, that are giant-sized compared to the soldiers. The PlayStation 2 version will feature power-ups scattered around the levels. The graphics of both versions promise to be good.
