Strategy and Wargaming Game from Strategic Simulations Inc. (SSI)
Turn-based war games related to the popular Panzer General games. You take control of allied forces through three campaigns, set in Western Europe, the Eastern Front and North Africa. There are 39 scenarios in all. You can play against the computer or another person via email or over hotseating. The game is played on hex-based maps and you control the action via a menu-based interface. Numerous authentic unit types are available coving both land and air. The game's graphics and controls are effective, although as expected the game now looks pretty dated.
