Strategy and Wargaming Game from Microsoft Games, by Ensemble Studios
Expansion pack for Age of Empires II. It features five new playable civilizations; the Aztecs, Mayans, Huns, Spanish, and Koreans, alongside the thirteen in the main game. Four campaigns are on offer. Each one puts the player in the role of a famous historical figure, including Attila the Hun, Montezuma and El Cid.
The graphics have undergone relatively minor improvements, the main changes have been refinements to the game engine that place the emphasis on sweeping strategic gameplay, rather than micro-management. Ai and game balance have been improved. New tech trees and unit types are incorporated. A good selection of multi-player game options are available.
