Combat-oriented RTS. Set in the future, your overall task is to save a city suffering from a plague. You control a four-man team charged with destroying the cause of the plague; a group called the Brood, as well as their followers, the 'Faithful' (zombies). The action is set in various locations around the world, from Siberia to Peru, as well as a subterranean alien base.
Your team members are genetically-enhanced men equipped with an arsenal hi-tech weapons, which include rocket launchers and flame-throwers. You select team members and their equipment. New items can be collected in-game.
The game is played on 3D isometric landscapes. It is possible to zoom in and out. There are five main levels. An innovative aspect of the game is the fact that missions and landscapes are randomly generated. There is a multi-player options for up to eight players over LAN or Net.
