Star Trek Game from Interplay, by Binary Asylum
Real-time strategy game set in the Star Trek universe. The game employs full 3D graphics. The single-player game consists of a series of 25 missions tied together by a strong story.
You choose to play either the Federation, Klingons or Romulans, each of whom have their own characteristics and technology. If you do not follow the customs and morality of the race you are playing, you will incur penalties. The setting is the neutral zone, the area outside the spheres of the various empires covered in the game, where a new system has been discovered and there a rush to explore/exploit/colonize it.
The game incorporates many unit types, including many entirely new ones. The game allows for cooperation as well as conflict between the races. There is a multi-player option for up to three players (over LAN or Net).
