Squad-based RTS set in the Star Trek: Next Generation universe. The game consists of a series of diverse missions set on various planets. The premise is that you are in charge of the crew of a new technologically-advanced war ship, called the Incursion. Before each mission, you select the members of an away team to go down to the surface.
Teams consist of three to six individuals. You have a wide a selection of personnel available, covering multiple races. They are divided into classes, such as engineers, science officers, security and medics. Teams have a selection of equipment, depending on the specifics of the mission. Even with weapons, stealth is necessary ingredient for success. Personnel gain experience and improve their skills over the course of missions, making it all the more important to protect them. The game is played on an isometric landscape with 3D units and employs a simple point-and-click control system.
