Star Trek Game from Simon & Schuster Interactive, by The Collective
Third-person action/adventure game set at the end of the sixth season of the TV show. The plot revolves around a quest to recover the lost Orbs of the Prophets and tells the story of the banishment of the Pa-wraiths. You can play Sisko, Worf and Kira Nerys. Each has their own strengths and weaknesses. Other well-known characters also feature.
The game consists of a series of diverse missions. Settings are varied, apart for the station, they include Bajor, the USS Defiant and a Cardassian military installation. Available weapons range from hand phasers to grenade launchers. You can also use a tricorder and com-badge to gain extra information and communicate with NPCs. The game employs an extensively customized Unreal Tournament engine and the graphics are good. The control system is effective. There is no multi-player mode.
