Wrestling game based on the popular WCW Nitro TV show. It features authentic wrestlers of the WCW and NWO. There is an extensive selection of game options to choose from including single bouts, tournaments, battle royals and tag team matches. Play against the computer or a friend. There are 16 characters available from the start with over forty more to be unlocked. The game's control system is effective and there are numerous moves and combos to master. The game's graphics, including character animation, are good. Play is accompanied by a high-energy, TV-style commentary provided by Tony Schiavonne and Mike Tenay.
