Wrestling game. Options include Quick Start, Quest for the Best, Main Event, Pay Per View Password and Global Option. The Main Event offers sub-categories of bout types, such as tag-team, and the ability to choose a setting. Up to four people are supported in the multi-player mode.
It features some 60 wrestlers. There is also a character editor. A notable feature of the game is the ability to take the action outside the ring, in other locations such as the locker room. When this happens the rules are suspended and you can use whatever comes to hand as a weapon.
There are many different moves available with numerous special moves. It is possible to reverse your opponents attacks. Filling you momentum meter and performing a finishing move achieves victory.
The game's graphics are generally good. There is also an excellent range of sound effects that accompany play, including good crown response and a TV-style commentary.
