Baseball sim with authentic teams and players. As well as updated rosters, this game features famous players of the past. It is also possible to design your own players and import faces. The game offers arcade-style gameplay but this installment has more statistical depth than its predecessors.
Game options include homerun derby, full season, playoffs, world tournament and 'big league challenge'. In the big league challenge top batsman from different teams compete directly. There is also a strong multi-player mode with online support. Progressing through the different modes unlocks new features. There are three difficulty settings. Harold Reynolds and Bob Costas provide the commentary. The game's 3D graphics are good and the control system is effective.
