Installment in the series of acclaimed American football games. It features a full selection of authentic teams, players and stadia. It is also possible to create your own leagues, teams and players. Along with general improvements and enhanced graphics, this installment employs a new interface and offers gameplay with more depth. A host of new plays and strategy options have been introduced. You can also create your own plays.
Game options include practice, exhibition match, playoffs, full season and franchise modes. The multi-player mode supports up to four people on the same machine, or up to eight online. A new league system now reflects your performance in online matches. The game's graphics have been refined particularly in the area of player animation. A varied and amusing commentary accompanies matches.
