Installment in the popular series of basketball games with an official license. It incorporates significant improvements over its predecessors, particularly in the areas of graphics, AI, collision detection and move/strategy options. There is also better online multi-player support and it is possible to keep tracks of your online results in a national league.
As expected, the game features fully updated team lineups. Many new animations, including player signature moves have been added. Game options include exhibition matches, playoffs, practice, franchise, tournament and street modes. In street mode you play on outside courts without an audience and can choose from 5-man or 2-man teams. Up to four players are supported in the multi-player mode.
