Basketball game featuring authentic teams and players with up-to-date rosters. A selection of great teams and players from the last 50 years are also available. The game boasts significant improvements over the last game, particularly in the graphics, with improved character animation and more varied facial expressions. A new camera system has been implemented and the controls tightened up..
Game options include practice mode, single matches, full season, street and franchise modes. There are three difficulty settings (rookie, pro and all star). In franchise mode you guide a team over several seasons, trading and signing new players. In street mode players can select from one of three authentic street courts, including Goat Park in Harlem and Chicago's Franklin Park, and chose three or five man team matches. The game also offers a strong multi-player mode (for up to four players on one console, and up eight people on-line).
