Sequel to a popular original. It features significant improvements, particularly in the areas of graphics and fish AI, and generally offers much more depth than its predecessor. There is a new practice mode to help you master the game. Other options are Free Fishing and Tournament modes.
The gameplay involves fishing with the aim of catching the largest bass. You choose one of seven characters with different skill balances between the areas of casting accuracy, casting distance, retrieving speed, retrieving technique, sight and fighting technique. A selection of real-life lakes are recreated and these are much more alive than before, for instance many other types of creature are incorporated. Over a hundred types of lures are available and the time of day, weather and water temperature all have an effect on fish behavior. The control system is straightforward.
