Sport Game from Sega, by UEP Systems
Snowboarding sim for the Dreamcast based on the successful Cool Boarders series. You select from a group of riders, outfits and boards with more becoming available as you progress through the game. There are two main game options covering downhill races and stunt competitions and you can play against computer-controlled opponents or a friend. In race mode there are five tracks and they incorporate areas to perform tricks that gain extra points. The stunt-based competitions take place in a simulated half-pipe. There are numerous tricks and combos to master. The game has a new control system that is generally effective. It boasts good graphics with both environments and riders rendered and animated well. A selection of beat-driven tunes accompany play.
