Sport Game from EA Sports, by EA Canada
Ice hockey game featuring authentic teams and players. It offers a choose of all the NHL teams and a selection of international sides. The game combines well-balanced, fast-paced gameplay with good graphics. You can choose practice, exhibition matches, tournament, playoffs, shootout, full season and career mode. In career mode you take the role of manager over ten seasons. In season and career modes you are responsible for trading and signing players. Four difficulty levels add replayability value.
The multi-player mode allows PC owners up to 12 people via modem/serial connection, LAN or on-line (only two can play via modem/serial connection). Up to 8 can play on linked PlayStations. The game incorporates many improvements over it predecessors, including new moves and managerial options, better graphics and AI. Matches are accompanied by commentary by Bill Clement and Jim Hughson.
