American football sim featuring authentic teams, players and stadia. This installment in the popular series incorporates improvements, particularly in the areas of graphics and controls. In all, there are almost 180 teams included; 115 Division 1-A teams and 64 classic teams. It is also possible to create your own players. Game options include fantasy league, tournament, scrimmage, full season and career mode. Up to eight players can participate. The game employs 989's total passing system and the controls are effective. the game's graphics are also good. Games are accompanied by commentary provided by Keith Jackson.
