This basketball game first appeared in the arcade and is now available for Dreamcast, N64 and PlayStation. It combines 3D graphics with arcade-style gameplay. The game focuses on two-on-two, fast-paced action and features over 130 authentic NBA players.
Between two and four people can play in multi-player mode, depending on the format. The control system is easy to use and there are numerous move permutations to master. A create-a-player option is incorporated into the game . A special feature of the game is that if a character score three times in a row he switches to being 'On Fire', and has super abilities.
The game's graphics and character animation are impressive, particularly on the more powerful Dreamcast. There is a good range of speech samples, sound effects and music incorporated into the game.
