Sport Game from Acclaim Sports, by Acclaim Studios Teesside
Basketball game featuring authentic teams and players from the NBA. It is also possible to create your own players. Both two-on-two (arcade) and five-a-side (sim) games are recreated. Game options include, exhibition matches, playoffs, season and custom season. Franchise mode allows you to make new signings and trade players. The multi-player mode allows up to four players to compete. Comprehensive statistics are available to help you keep track of your progress over the course of season.
A large number of moves are available and the control and play-calling systems are effective. Over 80 offensive plays are incorporated, four of these can be selected for instant recall whilst it is also possible to pause mid-game and access the others. The game's graphics are good. Matches are accompanied by a commentary be Kevin Harlan and Bill Walton.
