Innovative platform game based on the Monster Inc movie. Set in the fantasy realm of Monster Island you control one of two ghosts, Sulley and Mike. The aim is to scare robot children in order to collect their screams, which are used as power in the monster world!
The gameplay involves exploration, dealing with enemies and item collection. Ooze is needed to scare the kids. Kids themselves come in different colors denoting the amount of ooze needed to scare them. There are fifteen levels covering three main environment types (desert, arctic and city). Challenging bosses feature. The game employs colorful cartoon-style graphics and the level design is excellent. The control system is effective.
