Arcade-style baseball game and follow-up to Microsoft Baseball 3D. The game has an official MLB and MLBPA licenses and features authentic players, teams and stadia. The focus is on the on-field game rather than management aspects. Game options include practice, single match, full season and home run derby. Two people can compete on the same PC. The game boasts good 3D graphics. The AI is adequate. Matches are accompanied by a commentary by Thom Brennaman.
The game's management aspect is limited to the 'General Manager' function, which allows you to edit your team roster and adjust players' skills distribution. It also enables you to bring new players into the team.
