Installment in this popular series of American football games with authentic players, teams and stadia. It features improved graphics over the last game, particularly in the area of player animation. Game options include franchise and 'great games' modes, exhibition matches and full season. Great games is a set of scenarios based on classic games of the past. In franchise mode you guide a team through multiple seasons, trading and training new players. the game has a great deal of depth and an extensive playbook is incorporated. Games are accompanied by commentary provided by John Madden and Pat Summerall. There is also a multi-player mode for two on PC, over LAN or Net, or up to four on PlayStation.
