American football game. It features the teams, players and stadia of the NFL plus a selection of classic teams and all-star players. Improvements have made in the graphics and control system.
You can choose from a range of game options including stand-alone exhibition and scenario matches, full season, tournament and franchise mode. In franchise mode you to build up your team over a period of up to 30 seasons.
An important addition to installment is the arcade mode, which allows for no-rules play and you can even taunt you opponents in this mode. Also added is a tiredness meter that allows you to judge when to substitute your offensive linemen.
During matches you choose the plays, call the time-outs and make substitutions. There are hundreds of plays and moves available. The PC version includes a player editor so you can create your own players. Play is accompanied by a varied commentary provided by Pat Summer and John Madden.
