Sport Game from Microsoft Games
Installment in this high-successful series of golf sims. It features selections of authentic courses. The game boasts an all-new engine that delivers improved graphics and more realistic ball physics. You can play against the computer or with up to seven other players (over modem/serial connection, LAN or on-line).
There are five real-life courses recreated (the Prince course at Princeville, the Chateau Whistler course, the Avaria course, the Westfields Golf Club course and the Old Course at St Andrews). A fantasy course, named Mesa Roja, is also included. Significantly, this is the first game in the series to offer a course designer. It enables you to create a course in great detail. Of note is that add-ons for the previous games in the series are not compatible with the release version, but a patch is being developed.
