Sport Game from Codemasters
Soccer management sim featuring all 92 professional clubs of the English league. Both English and European competitions are recreated, together with ten challenges (such as scoring more goals than any competitor). The game offers two main play modes; challenge and full-game. You can play against the computer or another player.
You can adjust many aspects of the game. You select the club's staff and the players in your team. You can trade players and sign up new talent. You decide how training time is spent, the formation played in-match and can issue limited orders during matches. You also choose between sponsorship deals and are responsible for the upkeep of the ground.
The game is played via series of menus and stat tables. Matches themselves take a few minutes and are rendered in decent 3D with a text commentary. After each match there is an analysis section set in a TV studio and featuring Alan Hansen and Ray Stubbs.
