Boxing game. It features an extensive selection of authentic boxers. They include great names from the past, such as Rocky Marciano and Muhammad Ali, and from today, such as Lennox Lewis and Michael Grant. Among the new boxers is a selection of female fighters. You can also create your own characters.
Three classes of fighters and championships are recreated (light, middle, and heavy weight). Game options include single matches, career mode and two-player versus mode. A Slugfest mode offers arcade-style action. This sequel has an improved control system for more moves and faster responses. The game's graphics are good, particularly on PlayStation 2, with significant improvements in the area of character animation. Bouts are accompanied by commentary provided by Al Bernstein and Teddy Atlas (US) or Harry Carpenter and Barry MacGuigan (UK).
