Cricket management sim. Among the new additions are the incorporation of new international competitions, new batting and bowling options and improved match animation and commentary. All the English and Welsh county teams are recreated and the batting and bowling statistics of all of the players are included. Your team plays over a number of seasons for three county championships. Alternatively, you can play international sides and the World Cup championship is among those featured.
The gameplay consists of buying and selling players and selecting teams for matches. You also exercise a good degree of control during matches by positioning the fielders, setting batting order, controlling the level of bowling and batting aggression and bowling line. Each players has a particular distribution of skills, form and fitness are also taken into account. The game employs a menu-based interface. The graphics are adequate with some good animated sequences. Play is accompanied by a commentary provided by Jonathan Agnew.
