3D hunting sim. Prey types are elk, whitetail deer, blacktail deer and mule deer. It features six diverse locations in the US. Different times of year are recreated and this effects prey behavior. There are nineteen weapons types available; four bows, five shotguns and ten rifles. They are based on real-life counterparts. Other equipment includes scent lures, camouflage, binoculars, scopes and tree stands. You can adjust the difficulty levels and GPS deer tracking is available in the easy mode.
Game options are 'Hunt Now' (instant action), single player and online play. The single-player mode offers a choice of hunting trip, hunting challenge and shooting range. Hunting challenge consists of 25 missions that test your skills in different conditions. In the online mode you can compete and chat. Scores are tracked.
You roam freely through the landscape and the game is played from a first-person perspective. The graphics, AI and controls are effective.
