Simulation Game from THQ Inc., by Egosoft
Add-on for X: Beyond the Frontier. It offers general enhancements to the main game plus many new features and additions. Most notably, all ships are now available for capture, purchase and direct control. Each ship has its own cock-pit view and capabilities.
Thirty new ship types and upgrades feature, together with many new sub-missions. The controls system has also been modified and an autopilot introduced. It is also possible to make trades in distant locations by setting up a navigation satellite in that area.
The graphics have been improved and many game customization options added.
The plot follows on from that of the main game and once again the main character has to start from scratch, after his ship is damaged and his factories destroyed. Following the Xenon War, he has a difficult task in finding a way back to Earth.
