Simulation Game from Microsoft Games, by Digital Anvil
Futuristic space combat/trading game. The game is set in a large, well-designed universe and is due for release towards end of 2000. It will include 40 pre-set missions. There will also be a strong multi-player option. The premise of the game is that mankind has left our solar system and various empires are competing for ascendancy in colonizing new areas of space. You are the owner of an independent ship, free to choose what to do. You take missions, conducting trade and interacting with numerous NPCs. The game has a dynamic structure and the way you conduct missions decides the enemies you make. The game's hub is a spaceport where you can take up missions and upgrade your ships. The game promises impressive graphics and an easy-to-use control system.
