Follow-up to the highly successful Flight Simulator 98 This is a state-of-the-art civilian flight sim. Notably, this new version is compatible with the many add-ons released for the 98 game. The game is available in two versions - Standard and Professional. The professional version incorporates two additional aircraft plus six additional cities.
This sequel incorporates general improvements. The game's interface has been simplified and there are excellent tutorials to help you get to grips with the complex business of controlling the craft. As well as the myriad of aircraft included in the first game, new craft have been added. Among these are Concorde. In the professional edition you also get the King Air 350 twin-prop and Mooney Bravo.
Clouds, weather and light effects are reproduced. It has also been made possible to download up-to-date weather conditions from the Net. The game's graphics are generally OK.
