Flight Game from Interplay, by Volition Inc.
Space combat game. It is set in the year 2367, some 32 years after the original game, during a war involving the humans (Terrans) and two alien races the Vasudans and the Shivans.
The game offers a single-player campaign, multi-player option and full mission editor. The campaign has a strong plot developed through briefings and cutscenes. Mission objectives and the size of battles vary. You lead a small group of ships against the aliens. Depending on the mission you'll fly one of a selection of aircraft from small fighters to battle cruisers. In the later missions you'll be participating in some truly spectacular battles involving a large number of ships. Capital ships play an important part in the action adding an epic feeling to the game.
In multi-player mode up to 16 can participate on-line or over a network. The game employs impressive 3D graphics and visual effects. Good sound effects, music and voice-acting are incorporated.
