Helicopter combat sim and follow-up to the successful game Apache Havoc. It is even possible to combine the two games for extended multi-player action. Comanche Hokum features the ultra-modern RAH-66 Comanche, due to come into the service of the US army in 2006, and the older Russian Ka-52 Hokum. Each aircraft has its own handling characteristics and arsenal, including missiles and guns. The game offers a choice of three dynamic campaigns, set in Yemen, Lebanon and Taiwan. You can pitch into the battle as you wish as well as being assigned missions, the specifics of which depend on how the conflict is going. The battles are reproduced in great detail with many unit types involved and the game's effective camera system allows you to view the action from many perspectives. The game boasts good graphics, with both units and terrain rendered in detail.
