Air combat sim with strong on-line gaming functionality. It is now a few years old. The game offers a choice of over 35 authentic aircraft. The single player mode consists of four campaigns with over 300 missions to work through. Battles from WW1, WW2 and the Korean War are recreated. Alternatively, the excellent multi-player mode gives you a choice of three fictional sides in a conflict together with a selection of scenarios. An interesting feature of this mode is that aircraft from different ages come together in spectacular dogfights (via LAN, on-line or serial/modem connection). A mission editor is incorporated, adding significant replayability value to this game. The game's graphics and control system are effective, although it is a bit dated.
