Flight Game from Namco
Combat flight game. It is the first game in the series to be developed for PlayStation 2 instead of PlayStation. This installment features upgraded graphics and much larger levels. Like the previous games, it combines arcade game playability with some of the depth of a sim. It features a selection of authentic modern aircraft including the F-22 Raptor, the F-117 stealth fighter and the Mirage 2000. Both dogfighting and bombing runs are recreated.
The game features over twenty missions with varied objectives and settings. You'll unlock new aircraft as you progress and a story is developed through short cutscenes interspersing the missions. There is also a two-player mode for dogfights or cooperative training missions. The power of the PlayStation 2 enables much-improved graphics with photo-realistic environments and dynamic light effects. the controls system is effective.
