Driving Game from Psygnosis
Futuristic racing game featuring anti-gravity vehicles. The game combines advanced graphics, high-energy music and fast-paced racing action. Weapon and speed powerups are scattered around the courses. There are four teams to choose from, each with two drivers. The vehicles of each team have distinctive handling characteristics. There are two single-player championships to work through; Venom and Rapier classes. Tracks are challenging and well-designed. They feature some spectacular jumps and tunnel sections. There is also a two-player mode. Weapons include mines, rockets, shockwaves and homing missiles. The game's controls system is effective.
