Driving Game from Infogrames, by Eden Studios, Inc.
Rally sim. The game combines good graphics with in-depth gameplay. It features a eleven officially-licensed cars and the handling characteristics of each are reproduced. There are a range of game options including arcade mode, time trial, full championship and two-player versus mode. An important feature of the game is the large number of rally courses available, with some forty-two in eight countries. There are also eighteen arcade courses (grouped according to difficulty). The game's graphics are good, if now a bit dated, with both cars and tracks rendered in good detail. A range of terrain and weather conditions are recreated. Play is accompanied by realistic engine noise and a rock-style musical soundtrack.
