Action-oriented driving game and part of this successful series of games. The main, single-player, game consists of a series of levels set within an overall story. There is also a multi-player option for up to four people (via multi-tap).
The gameplay consists of driving your car around and unleashing an amazing array of high-powered weapons at the enemy. Weapons include machine guns, mines, napalm, rockets, missiles, and bombs. Powerups and warp points are scattered around the arenas.
The game's arenas are large and well-designed with interactive elements such as puddles of explosive liquid and a crane you can use to pick up and drop enemy vehicles. Some of the battle environments are on multiple levels. The game boasts good graphics and strong AI.
An extensive range of sound effects and high-energy music (including tracks by artists such as Cypress Hill) are incorporated.
