Arcade-style street racing game. It features a single, very large track set on a Tokyo highway. The game's premise is that you race gang members to earn extra cash.
There are 25 cars to race. They are based closely on actual vehicles, although the game has no official licenses. The game options include single-player quest and quick race modes. There is also a two-player mode for split-screen races
In quest mode you have a starting balance of cash to buy your first car. You can extensively customize it - right down to the paint job. You then hit the road looking for likely opponents. Notably, you choose opponents and the area of the track on which to compete. When you encounter a car being driven by a rival you can challenge him to a race and earn more cash. The game's graphics are impressive. The vehicle physics and controls are effective.
