Driving Game from Accolade, by Pitbull Syndicate
Part of this successful series of arcade-style racing games. The game offers a selection of authentic vehicles, with some 40 in all, many of which have to be unlocked. These include modern and classic cars divided into two classes; sports and muscle. Featured manufacturers include Ford, Dodge, Aston Martin and Jaguar. There are 18 well-designed street courses set in locations around the world (further variations may be unlocked). You must beware of the cops who may be waiting to give you a speeding ticket. The game offers over many types of driving challenge alongside Single Race, Time Trials, Cup Race, Drag Race, and Cop Chase. There is a multi-player mode for two on a or up to six on-line or over LAN. The graphics are reasonable although they have been surpassed by more recent titles.
