Driving Game from Codemasters
Sequel to a successful original. This sim features authentic vehicles, drivers and tracks. There are eight cars and the same number of tracks and drivers. The game incorporates a comprehensive set of stats on the drivers and cars to help you make the right selections. The game recreates the two-car team and pit systems of the TOCA races well and you'll receive audio updates during the race.
There are several game options, including single race, full championship and multi-player races. Up to four people can compete on a split screen, or up to eight via network or on-line. There are several difficulty settings to work through.
The game boasts good 3D graphics. A nice feature is that damage is realistically rendered. Play is accompanied by a good range of speech samples, sound effects and background music.
