Driving Game from Electronic Arts, by Papyrus Racing Games
Arcade-style motorbike racing game with action component. This was the first installment in a long-running series to be released for PlayStation.
The premise is that the characters belong to one of four gangs, each with their own personality and weapon types. They embark on street races trying to take each other out and avoid getting caught by the cops. The tracks are alive with other traffic. Players can use weapons, such as crow bars, or simply punch or kick rival riders.
There are two main game modes; Trash (single races) and Big Game (championship with prize money). In Big Game you can pay for a better bikes as you progress. The game employs simplified physics and easy-to-use controls. It incorporates punk-rock style music. The game's graphics could be better. Notably, the game does not offer a multi-player mode.
