Driving Game from Acclaim Entertainment, by Broadsword Interactive
Rally racing game. It recreates the famous desert-based race, first run in 1979. The long course is divided into twelve stages. An unusual feature of the race is that a variety of vehicles take part. A navigator accompanies your driver. You can choose from cars, buggies, quad bikes or motorbikes (six or seven of each). There are three game options; time attack, arcade or campaign (there is no multi-player mode).
The terrain is tough and vehicles suffer damage as a result. The nature of the damage depends on the type of vehicle. You have the option to stop for repairs. The game's 3D graphics and control system are effective.
