Driving Game from Interplay, by Rage Software
Humorous racing game. It is the follow-up to the first-person shooter, Redneck Rampage. The game is a modified version of the game released in Europe with the simple title 'Off-road'. Certain additions relating to the redneck theme have added to this version, including many humorous characters and voice-samples.
The game features 16 off-road vehicles including trucks and dune buggies. There are twenty-four courses, four in each of the six distinctive environments. Game options include time trial, challenge, and driver's championship. The championship mode you work through four divisions, unlocking vehicles as you go. A sponsorship system enables you to strike deals that will let you buy vehicle upgrades. Different times of days and weather conditions are recreated.
The game combines effective 3D graphics with a fun driving experience. It employs the engine developed for Hostile Waters: Antaeus Rising.
