Driving Game from EA Sports, by Stormfront Studios
Part of a long-running series of stock-car racing games that features authentic NASCAR drivers, cars, teams and tracks. It offers many more drivers and tracks to choose from than its predecessor, with a total of 35 tracks (17 of which are authentic) and 31 drivers. This is the first game to reproduce NASCAR truck racing. In all, three competitions are recreated (NASCAR Cup, the Grand National and truck racing). Game options include single race, championship and multi-player modes (for up to eight people n PC and 2 on console). You can customize many areas of the game, including the difficulty level and race length. Vehicle customization is an important ingredient for success. Adjustable areas include fuel load, tire pressure, spoiler angle (for down-force), wedge (effects vehicle handling), gear ratios, car weight distribution and shock percentages. The improved graphics are good.
